This comparison is maintained by MeetMagnet, which is part of the market being compared. We wrote it to stay useful even if you don’t choose us: the facts come from the vendors’ websites, the prices are those shown publicly during our survey of 26 September 2026, and every tool has its ideal profile. When a price is not public, we say so.

Buying signal software or intent data tool: what are we talking about?

Under the “intent data” label, there are in fact four families of tools that don’t do the same job:

  1. Account-level intent data: it measures a company’s interest in a topic (visits to your website, reading across content networks). Built for marketing and ABM at large accounts.
  2. Buying signal tools: they spot dated facts (a reaction to a post, a hire, a new role, a funding round) and attach them to a person or a company.
  3. Sending tools and databases: they add signals as a filter or an add-on, but their core is still sending sequences or finding contacts.
  4. Services: agencies or assisted offers, where someone handles targeting, messages and follow-up.

If the difference between intent data and a buying signal isn’t clear, read intent data vs buying signals: what’s the difference first.

Which tools should you compare in 2026?

As of 26 September 2026. Public entry prices, excluding VAT where the vendor says so, in dollars where the vendor shows dollars. They change often: check the vendor’s website before you decide.

Trigify is no longer comparable: acquired by HubSpot, it is retiring its platform. Standard access stays open until 22 October 2026 (11:59 pm London time); accounts are not migrated and data is not passed to HubSpot, according to the announcement published on its website on 23 September 2026.

Credits and quotas: what does each tool cap?

The entry price doesn’t tell the whole story: every tool in this table caps something. Gojiberry caps volume (1,800 prospects contacted per month in Pro). lemlist sells signals on credits. Waalaxy limits invitations (300 per month in Pro). La Growth Machine, Mantiks, Pharow, Humanlinker, Amplemarket, Leadfeeder, Common Room and 6sense count credits or quotas. Rodz charges per lead detected, and Haliro limits the scope it monitors.

With MeetMagnet Self-serve (€149/month excl. VAT), signals are unlimited, with no lead credits and no AI credits. One caveat applies to everyone, us included: LinkedIn’s limits apply to every tool, and none can promise you a volume.

Example, as of 26 September 2026: at lemlist, signals plus multichannel come to $109 (Multichannel) + $29 (100 signals) + $20 (enrichment) = $158/month for 100 signals.

Which tool should you choose for your profile?

  • Choose Gojiberry if you want a software-only tool that prospects and follows up automatically on LinkedIn then by email, suggests pre-written replies you send in one click, integrates with HubSpot or Pipedrive, and if 1,800 prospects contacted per month is enough for you.
  • Choose Haliro if you have a team of 3 to 15 salespeople, you want sourced opportunity sheets and your team knows how to open the conversation itself.
  • Choose Rodz if you already have a CRM and a sequencing tool, and just want to feed them with signals, paying as you go.
  • Choose Mantiks if you are a recruitment agency, an IT services firm or a consultancy, and hiring is your main signal.
  • Choose lemlist, La Growth Machine or Waalaxy if you already know who to write to and your main need is sending, across several channels, with good sequence tracking. Signals are an extra there: on credits at lemlist, as a targeting filter at La Growth Machine and Waalaxy.
  • Choose Humanlinker or Pharow if you need to prepare your outreach or build lists in France, and you write the messages yourself. At Humanlinker, business signals and news monitoring are reserved for the Business plan, on quote.
  • Choose Amplemarket, Common Room, ZoomInfo, 6sense or Leadfeeder if you have an established sales team, long cycles, traffic on your website or a budget of several thousand euros a year, and someone to work the data.
  • Choose an agency if you want to hand over everything, phone included, and the budget allows.
  • Choose MeetMagnet if you are a B2B SME with existing customers and a validated market, no dedicated prospecting team, buyers who can be identified on LinkedIn, and you want every first message to start from a real signal, with a person who calibrates the setup and tracks the results. Optimmo Energies, a SaaS vendor for real estate, gets 4 opportunities a month this way (see the case).

What MeetMagnet doesn’t do well, or not in the standard plans: detection runs at scale on LinkedIn only. If your buyers aren’t there at all, the other sources (reviews, forums, social networks, job postings, press) exist but fall under the multi-source option of the Assisted plan. Nor is it a high-volume sending tool: if your strategy relies on thousands of emails a week, a sequencing tool will suit you better. And if you are launching your business with no customers or validated market, no signal tool will replace that groundwork.

Trigify is closing: what should you do with your LinkedIn signals?

If you were using Trigify, the deadline is close. A few steps so you don’t start from scratch:

  1. Export before standard access ends on 22 October 2026 your lists, your history and your signal setup.
  2. Sort them: which signals produced replies, which only produced volume.
  3. Test a replacement on those signals, with your real target, during the trial period.
  4. Look at what comes after the signal: does the tool only give you a list, or also a first message and follow-up through to the meeting?

What questions should you ask during the trial?

A demo shows the best case. Ask these questions on your own data instead.

  1. Where exactly do the signals come from? LinkedIn, job postings, press, website visits? Are they publicly visible or inferred?
  2. How many of the profiles it surfaces are in the right role? Count over a week. A signal from the wrong person is worth nothing.
  3. Who writes the first message, and from what? A signal spotted, then a generic message, is just one more cold message.
  4. What happens when someone replies? Who reads, who qualifies, who offers a time slot?
  5. Who adjusts the target when results drop? You alone, a support desk, or a person who follows your account?

For question 3, take a real signal surfaced by the tool and read the message it suggests.

Illustrative example

Signal: the finance and admin director of an SME comments on a vendor’s post about mandatory e-invoicing.

Opener that falls flat: “Hi Claire, I saw your comment on e-invoicing. Our solution helps SMEs through this transition. Would you have 20 minutes for a demo?”

Opener that gets a reply: “With e-invoicing, the longest part often isn’t choosing the platform, it’s reworking the flows with suppliers. Have you already made your choice, or is it still open?”

If the tool produces the first version, you will rewrite every message. If it produces the second, it saves you the hardest step. The quality of the signal matters; the quality of the opener decides whether you get a reply. To know which signals deserve a message, see how to qualify a signal before you reach out.

Software, assisted service or agency: what are you really paying for?

On top of the listed price comes the time spent running the tool.

Option Price (as of September 2026) What you do yourself
Standalone prospecting software €89 to €300/month Target, messages, replies, follow-up
Assisted service (software + human) €299/month at MeetMagnet (Assisted) Approve the target and messages, take the meetings
Prospecting agency €1,000 to €3,000/month Attend the meetings

The difference between software and an assisted service comes down to human time. Same tool, same detection: what changes is that a person calibrates the target, reviews the openers and makes adjustments every month. If you don’t have that time, count it in the real cost of software.

Whatever tool you pick, judge it on what matters: conversations that lead to meetings. The method for getting there is set out in from buying signal to meeting, and the available signal sources in our pages on signals by source.

Frequently asked questions

How much does buying signal software cost?

Based on our September 2026 market survey, standalone prospecting software, signals included, costs €89 to €300/month for a small team. Account-level intent data platforms and suites for large teams start higher, often on quote. Prospecting agencies charge €1,000 to €3,000/month.

What should I do if I was using Trigify?

Trigify has been acquired by HubSpot and is retiring its platform: standard access ends on 22 October 2026, with no account migration and no data passed to HubSpot. Export your lists and history before that date, note which signals actually produced replies, then test one or two tools on those specific signals rather than on a generic demo.

Does MeetMagnet cover sources other than LinkedIn?

Yes, but not in the standard plans. Detection on LinkedIn (reactions and posts) is built into the Self-serve and Assisted plans. Reviews, forums, social networks, job postings and the press need a specific setup and fall under the multi-source option of the Assisted plan, priced case by case.

Does buying signal software replace a prospecting agency?

Not entirely. Software gives you the timing and sometimes the message, but someone has to steer the target, read the replies and book the meetings. An agency does everything for you, at a much higher price. A assisted service sits in between: the tool, plus a person who calibrates it and tracks the results.

How should I test a buying signal tool during the trial?

Give it your real target, not the demo one. Look at who comes up over a week, how many profiles are really in the right role, and read the first messages it suggests. A tool that finds good signals but writes generic messages will leave you with the hardest part of the job.
